In this 6 week course students will complete 3 wintery fun projects! Emphasis on creativity and skill building, process over product. Book your spot now before it’s full! Project 1: Alpine Village Collage Artists will create a glistening snowy landscape with acrylic paint and a dash of glitter. Then they will draw and paint a village full of chalets, each with windows and doors that open and close. As a finishing touch, they will use the included templates to color and create moving characters in their scene. Project 2: Fire Side Fox Artists will use the included handout to draw and paint a fox or two enjoying the warmth and glow of a roaring fire on a chilly winter day. Project 3: Cozy Cocoa Canvas Artists will use the included template to draw a cup of hot cocoa and mittens on the canvas, then paint with their choice of acrylic paint colors. Then they will use stencils to add the snowy texture to the background and a layer of fluffy foam to the cocoa. As a finishing touch, white splatter paint will add delicate flurries swirling about.
